With a background in professional dance, touring the UK and USA extensively with both Richard Alston Dance Company and Phoenix Dance Theatre, Genevieve has always been passionate about movement and working with the human body.
Having a key interest in injury rehabilitation and strengthening, Genevieve combines her clinical practice with her expertise in Pilates, which she has always used as a complementary form of strengthening in her own practice.
Having attained an MA in Contemporary Dance, Genevieve has gone on to complete her STOTT Matwork qualification alongside her ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage. She has also a gained full equipment qualification with APPI to further her practice to reformer, cadillac and split pedal chair.
Genevieve now specialises in rehabilitation through movement, combining her clinical experience in manual therapy to create additional myofascial & soft tissue release for the body. She not only works with many athletes to change postural habits but assists people through rehabilitation working alongside many physiotherapists and osteopaths.
Genevieve enjoys working with athletes; particularly runners, cyclists & dancers, considering muscle imbalance. She works consistently with stretching and articulation to create length and quality of movement.
Genevieve also enjoys teaching dance, living an active lifestyle, travelling abroad, photography and she has a new found interest in climbing. She is currently undertaking a BSc in Physiotherapy at Kings College London.
